I now leave behind Amsterdam and the Giro and make the long trip back to Basel before heading straight to California. Ivan, while warming up, asked me if I was "really going to miss the show? Because I'm going to fly!" Let's hope. Not a bad TT for Ivan today. The real action will come in week 3... when I return!
